ATHLONExtrusions® PMMA/ABS is a multi-layer, combination of PMMA co-extruded on high impact ABS. The benefits of this construction include an excellent A-face finish in a range of matt levels. Properties included within the range include superior scratch resistance, improved chemical resistance and excellent UV stability. These grades are all offered in an extremely wide variety of colours including metallics, pearlescent colours and a “FX” range. Easy processing during thermoforming and fabrication in all grades except the furniture products.

Product variants
AB301P
Sanitary grade. Available in a number of different formats, dependent on application and technical requirements. Applications include bath panels, basins and baths. Shallow and deep draw formings are possible with an easy mould release substrate where required.
AB301T
Sanitary grade. Specifically designed for the shower tray industry. Demonstrates improved bonding to re-enforcement systems combined with fast forming and high definition. Improved UV resistance where requested.
AB401
Outdoor grade. Full UV stability in a wide range of colours, produced from internally manufactured colour masterbatch for improved colour integrity and control. Colours produced from externally sourced masterbatch are also available. High gloss to low matt finishes in a wide variety of surface textures are available. Easy mould release capabilities are also offered, where requested.
AB402ML
Metallic grade. A full suite of metallic colours from the extensive internal colour library is available. Alternatively, bespoke colours are also available upon request. UV stability is tested on all colours before release.
AB301D
Furniture grade. Produced in high gloss with excellent scratch resistance in a wide variety of existing and bespoke colours, specifically for the kitchen and bedroom door market. Superb surface quality for a blemish free appearance and treated for optimum bonding capability. Available in thin gauge for improved economy without compromising sheet quality.
