The anodising process provides optimum protection against corrosion of aluminium. Finishing gives the surface a functional, decorative or technically aesthetic appearance. The thickness of the anodising layer of ALUCOBOND^® is 20 µm.

Mill-finished ALUCOBOND^® and HYLITE^® surfaces are without treatment and show a finely rolled structure. The mill-finished surfaces require special handling of the panels. For exterior application no decorative demands should be made.
